Restore//Yoga & Pilates

LCD HOT hosts plentiful yoga offerings—from meditative postures to gentle asanas and faster-flowing vinyasas. Both our yoga and Pilates options focus on exploration in movement, breath, and meditation while improving posture, alignment, and overall body awareness.

Blend YOga

A slow flow of sun salutations builds heat through partially self-guide movement, followed by longer-held postures to deepen breathing, tone muscles, and improve flexibility.

Hot VINYASA yoga

An energetic practice of flowing postures—from classic sun salutations to more advanced arm balances and backbends—in a heated room.

yin yoga

A sequence of static postures with slow, deliberate transitions that support conscious breath, while body weight, gravity, and the gentle aid of props encourage relaxation and flexibility in postures.

yinyasa

Guided, vigorous flow to build breath and heat, followed by slower-to-static posture holds to release stress and tension while building flexibility.

hatha yoga

Hatha joins bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of creating a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

kemetic yoga

The ancient Egyptian stem of yoga enlightenment based on practices of physical movement combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation.

restorative yoga & nidra

Enter a state of deep awareness in this two-part class: 45 minutes of gentle asana (postures) to soothe the physical body and pranayama (breath) to cultivate mental ease, followed by 30 minutes of relaxation technique known as yogic sleep.

candlelit yin & nidra

Restore deeply in this soft practice of long holds and passive stretches. We stay low to the ground, move intuitively, and find rhythm and peace in our collective breath. 45 minutes of Yin, followed by 15 minutes of Nidra (yoga sleep).

form & flow

A medium-paced class for yogis looking to focus on anatomical alignnment and perfect technique. Class follows the same format each week: chanting, breath work, flowing movement with peak post, cool-down, and rest.

pilates 101

Foundational exercises that highlight activation of the “powerhouse,” the main stabilizing muscles (abdominals, back, hip and shoulder girdle) to protect the spine during movement.

mat pilates

A faster-flowing series of Pilates foundational exercises that focus on core-strength and elevating heart rate.

prenatal

Yoga designed especially for the expectant mother, offering a comfortable space to safely stretch, strengthen, and promote a positive mental state.
